Todd Schmidt Memorial Scholarship


The Todd Schmidt Memorial Scholarship was established in 2026 to celebrate the long term commitment of Todd Schmidt to the pharmacy profession. Todd honorably served for over 10 years as President of the Florida Pharmacy Foundation and showed outstanding dedication to promoting the success of the organization. The scholarship recognizes a student pharmacist that demonstrates outstanding academic achievement, is actively involved in professional and student pharmacy organizations and is enthusiastically engaged in community service. The scholarship award is $1500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a current student enrolled in one of the seven affiliated Florida pharmacy schools: Florida A&M University, University of Florida, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Nova Southeastern University, University of South Florida, LECOM, Larkin Health Sciences Institute.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated excellence in academics, community service, and active involvement in professional or student pharmacy organizations.
- Must have a current Student Pharmacist Membership in the FPA (Florida Pharmacy Association).
Award Details
- One-time scholarship award of $1,500.
- Funds may be used toward tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
Selection & Notification
- Applications are reviewed by the Florida Pharmacy Foundation’s scholarship selection committee.
- Recipients will be notified via email and announced on the Foundation’s official platforms.
- Award is presented during a designated Foundation or Association event.

- Complete the application form and upload all required documents, including transcripts and letters of recommendation.
- Submit a personal statement detailing your academic journey, leadership experiences, and service contributions.
- You may apply for as many different Scholarships as you like utilizing the online form.
